Boston's Favorite Community Park
Located in the South End of Boston, Peters Park is a multi-use park offering something for everyone. From one of Boston's best off leash dog runs, to an enclosed playground for toddlers and up, as well as tennis courts, basketball courts, and beautiful garden areas.
The Friends of Peters Park are a not-for-profit organization of volunteer community members dedicated to safeguarding Peters Park as a South End community oasis. This park is solely supported by members, volunteers and generous donations.
We Need Your Help
The Peters Park dog run and surrounding park area is officially into fundraising mode in order to refurbish the park. After 10 years of heavy use the dog run surface and sub-surface are currently not allowing for proper drainage resulting in very large puddles forming which give off an unpleasant odor. To replenish the dog run surface and maintain the area for years to come we'll need to raise $100,000. Please visit our "HELP US" tab noted above and make your donation to be a part of a caring group keen on ensuring safety and the sustainability of our beloved dog run. The financial thermometer above will track our progress from week to week, it will be updated each Monday morning for your review. We are a 501c organization making your donation a tax exempt transaction. The Friends of Peters Park will also add more detail about the full refurbishment agenda, please look to our "Dog Park" tab on May 11th for more information.
