In Peters Park you can enjoy open green spaces, flowering trees, and small gardens. Come amble down the walkways, and feel free to sit on an inviting bench. If you enjoy gardening, or getting outside and helping with community space maintenance projects, the Garden and Maintenance Committee invites you to come join us.
The Garden and Maintenance Committee is responsible for the keeping the Park clean and for taking care of the gardens, and we work with the Boston Parks Department. And for those interested in getting their hands dirty in the gardens, we’ll be collaborating with the Mass. Horticultural Society on planning more perennial and ornamental gardens throughout the park, and improving the park’s irrigation.
Come help our seasonal cleanup efforts! They are advertised on our website and posters in the Park prior to the cleanup day. Volunteers help weed, rake, mulch, and clean up trash. We can always use more volunteers. Thanks for always trying to keep the Park clean.
